The Stagecoach Fire sparked on Aug. 3 in the Havilah area, quickly prompting evacuations as it threatened structures. 23ABC was on the scene as Kern County Fire crews worked to put out the flames. In 24 hours, the fire grew to 2,500 acres, destroyed two homes, and was still at 0% containment.
