TEHACHAPI, Calif. — Hundreds will be riding into Tehachapi for an annual festival that includes a parade and rodeo. It's the 56th Annual Tehachapi Mountain Festival and the fun gets started Friday.
Organizers say it is the largest family event in the mountain community. The festival includes an arts and crafts show, food, live entertainment, a carnival, a parade, and the PRCA rodeo.
The carnival starts things off at 6 p.m. Friday night at the Tehachapi Rodeo Grounds and then the rodeo gets going at 7 p.m.
The festival continues on Saturday and Sunday.
