BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A shed belonging to Beardsley Junior High School was stolen from the campus during a break-in early Wednesday morning.

According to Russ Woods, Director of Facilities for the Beardsley School District, around 4 a.m. on Wednesday, two people can be seen on security cameras entering the campus under the Airport Drive overpass. The people used spray to obscure the security camera globes on two cameras, then cut the lock to the garden and put the shed on a hand truck.

The plastic shed contained gardening tools and some sports equipment.

Woods told 23ABC that break-ins in the district happen "pretty regularly."

Beardsley Junior High School is located on Roberts Lane in Oildale.
