BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Aqua-Nuts, a local non-profit organization, empowers local veterans to tackle their disabilities through scuba diving.
Disabled veterans take multiple classes preparing them to become certified open water scuba divers. Through the classes they build a sense of community and an outlet to manage their disabilities.
