ROSAMOND, Calif. — According to a letter issued by the Rosamond School Water System, the school has levels of arsenic that are above the drinking water standard.
The letter states that Rosamond School is working with the State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Drinking Water towards a long-term solution which will include physical consolidation with the neighboring community services district.
The letter informs the community of Rosamond that this is not an emergency and that individuals do not need to use alternative water supplies.
They state that if you have health issues concerning the consumption of the water you should consult with your doctor.
