Bakersfield College Department of Public Safety released the 2018 Campus Safety and Security Survey, for crimes reported from 2015 to 2017. In those three years, there have been a total of 64 criminal offenses, and 17 Violence Against Women's Act offenses reported on campus.
Here is a break down of all on-campus reported crimes, arrests, and disciplinary actions.
Criminal Offenses:
29 Burglary
20 Motor Vehicle Theft
5 Arson
4 Robbery
3 Fondling
2 Rape
1 Aggravated Assault
Arrests:
2 Drug abuse violations
1 Weapons: carrying, possessing, etc.
Violence Against Women's Act Offenses:
13 Stalking
2 Domestic Violence
2 Dating Violence
Disciplinary Actions:
6 Liquor law violations
5 Drug abuse violations
1 Weapons: carrying, possessing, etc.
This year's report said it does not include fire statistics or missing persons.
