Raspberry chia seed jam that is healthy and easy to make!

A twist on the classic raspberry jam
Posted

This week on Simply Sweet Allison we made a homemade jam that is full of flavor without added sugar! I used raspberries and chia seeds, but you can use any berry that you like.

With just four ingredients, this is simple to make but also healthy. This jam pairs perfectly with protein pancakes, you can top it on toast or add it in a PB&J.

Ingredients:

- 2 cups raspberries

- 1 tbsp. lemon juice

- 1 tbsp. honey

- 1 tbsp. chia seeds

Directions:

  1. Place the raspberries in a saucepan and cook on medium/low heat for 5 to 7 minutes until they are bubbling.
  2. Add the lemon juice, honey and chia seeds.
  3. Mix and let cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the jam starts to thicken.
  4. Pour the jam into a mason jar or air-tight container and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
