BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Raising Cane’s second restaurant expected to open in Bakersfield this fall. The restaurant, whose specialties include chicken fingers and Texas toast, is a Louisiana based chain with over 420 locations across the United States and 19 countries.

A spokeswoman with the fast-food restaurant said they are planning to finish construction, hire their staff and open by November or December 2019, depending on construction time. The new restaurant is expected to open on California Avenue in Southwest Bakersfield.

Raising Cane’s currently has job postings online for a general manager for the new store, as well as restaurant managers. Their spokeswoman said they will hire their restaurant staff after they find their general manager.

The first Raising Cane’s restaurant opened this February at 3224 Coffee Road in Northwest Bakersfield. The restaurant is open from Sunday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. and from 9 a.m. to 3 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
