BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Pyrenees French Bakery said it hopes to ease some of the stress during this time of uncertainty.
The local bakery posted on Facebook Monday saying it plans to continue filling orders amid the coronavirus pandemic. It is also increasing production in order to keep its storefront, and grocery stores it serves, stocked.
Those who want to order from the bakery can do so by calling (661) 322-7159 and placing an order. The bakery asks that its patrons place order the day before by 3 p.m. Orders will be completed and ready for pick-up the next morning.
"Through this time, our prices will not increase. We love this community. And we will continue to serve you, the good people of Bakersfield as long as we can."
Pyrenees has served the community since the early 1900s when it was known as Kern City French Bakery, according to its website.
