PG&E said that over 9,700 customers are without power in East Bakersfield.
The outage started at about 3:10 p.m. Thursday and some residents in the area said that their power is already back on.
PGE said that it expects full restoration by 6:30 p.m.
One user who posted to our Facebook page said that it's a, "hot mess" on Mt. Vernon Avenue.
