UPDATE:
According to officials, an 8-year-old girl has been safely returned to her family after going missing on August 25.
Investigators with the Kern County District Attorney’s Child Abduction Unit said Susana Moreno was returned "unharmed to her proper custodial parent" on Thursday.
Officials said they worked with the custodial parents of Susana and were able to successfully locate her where she appeared to have been recently dropped off at relative’s house. It was reported that Susana was not properly returned to the custody of her biological father on August 25th, as required by a shared custody order between Susana’s biological mother and father.
Though Susana has been safely found officials confirmed that the investigation in the case is still ongoing.

Bakersfield Police are looking for an 8-year-old girl who has been missing since August 25. According to the CaliforniaDepartment of Justice website, Susana Alejandra Moreno-Sanchez was last seen in Bakersfield.
Moreno-Sanchez is described as being an Hispanic female, 4 foot 8 inches, weighing about 80 lbs. She has black hair and brown eyes.
