Green Room Bar owner Frank Sanchez, better known as Frank Kruz, was arrested on multiple charges of sexually abusing a child last week.
Police detail the probable cause for his arrest in court documents.
The alleged victim, who is now 20, reported Sanchez exposed his penis to her when she was five and had her touch it. When she was seven, he began having sex with her. She says this continued at least once a week for the next several years, totaling hundreds of assaults.
The victim's mother was dating Sanchez and even after the broke up, Sanchez remained a father-figure in the alleged victim's life.
In a police interview, Sanchez admitted to have sex with the victim when she was 11 or 12, then later admitted she could have been as young as seven.
Sanchez, 53, is being held on four felony charges including continuous sexual abuse of a child, sexual intercourse or sodomy with a child ten years old or younger, oral copulation or sexual penetration of a child ten or younger and lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14.
Sanchez pleaded not guilty to these charges on Monday and is due back in court in late December.
On Monday, the Green Room's signs were torn as a symbol and physical representation that those involved are putting this behind them.
23ABC received word that the victim hopes to inspire other sexual assault victims to step forward and report their assaults to police.
