We're following breaking news out of Central Bakersfield where a motorcycle was involved in a crash.
According to Bakersfield Police, the motorcycle crashed just before 6:30 a.m. in the area of union and manor street.
At this time one lane is reportedly being blocked as crews look to clean-up the area.
Drugs and alcohol do NOT appear to be a factor but speed does.
The driver of the motorcyclist was taken to an area hospital, it's unknown the extent of their injuries.
