BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — One person is facing DUI charges now after getting arrested during a checkpoint held by Bakersfield Police over the weekend.
The DUI and license checkpoint was held Saturday night from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday. Over 590 vehicles were screened in Central Bakersfield on Oak Street near 19th Street.
Four drivers were cited for driving without a license and four drivers were cited for driving on a suspended license.
