BAKERSFIELD, CA. — Kern County has a new women business center in Southwest Bakersfield.

The center held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to promote its doors officially opening.

"The center helps local entrepreneurs, we help everyone, we focus on women, minorities, local income and anyone that wants to start their business," Norma Dunna, deputy director.
