BAKERSFIELD, CALIF. — 23ABC has compiled a list of the new businesses coming to our town.
Today Dave & Buster’s confirmed with 23ABC they will break ground on a new location at the Valley Plaza. They will officially open their doors August 10, 2020, according to their corporate office.
A new Yard House location is finishing construction at The Shops at River Walk. The restaurant will be open for business by December 16, 2020. Bakersfield City Planning confirmed new office buildings and smaller retailers will soon be coming to The Shops at River Walk.
The Bakersfield Commons has received land approval, and awaiting property owners to submit building plans, according to Bakersfield City Planning. 23ABC reached out to Trammell Crow, the developers of the project, but did not hear back as to when the project will begin.
Kids empire, a gigantic indoor playground, located on California Avenue in Southwest Bakersfield says, it’s opening soon according to the company's website. 23ABC tried to reach the company for confirmation but has not received a response yet.
Home2Suites on Brimhall Road will be accepting online reservations starting January 13, 2020. It is officially opening in mid-November and you can make reservations now by calling the hotel directly at 661-368-2527. The Hyatt on Coffee Road, near Stockdale Highway, plans to open its doors February 6, 2020.
