BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Nearly a dozen employees are expected to be laid off at Nestlé Retail Sales operation on District Boulevard next month, according to a company letter.

In September, Nestlé USA, Inc. submitted a letter to the Kern County Board of Supervisors notifying the board that the company is reorganizing its operation at Nestlé Retail Sales and will permanently layoff at least eleven of its employees in the workforce. These positions include delivery drivers, district sales leader, and merchandisers.

Nestlé USA confirmed that its first set of layoffs at the facility is expected to happen on November 15 and may continue through the end of the year.
