The murder trial for Leslie Chance is scheduled to begin at the end of April.

On Monday morning, a judge ruled that Chance's murder trial will begin April 29.

Chance, a former elementary school principal, is accused of killing her husband Todd Chance back in 2013.

The body of Todd Chance was found in an agricultural field with several gunshot wounds. Chance was arrested early on in the investigation but was eventually released until she was later re-arrested.

She was in court Monday morning.

She faces one count of first-degree murder.
