Fernando Pruneda, a basketball coach at McFarland High School, who was arrested for sexual misconduct with minor has been charged with three felonies and one misdemeanor.
The charges include contacting minor to commit sexual offense, lewd/lascivious act with child 14/15: Defendant 10 years older, and annoying or molesting a child under 18, according to court documents.
On October 9, a McFarland High School student reported inappropriate sexual contact with a McFarland High School staff member. During the investigation, detectives learned Pruneda was attempting to obtain sexual favors from the student and had possibly touched the student in an inappropriate manner.
Pruneda is scheduled to be back in court on Thursday, October 25.
