Hector Robles was sentenced to 21 years to life in prison Thursday for an attempted murder.
Robles was found guilty on five charges including torture, cruelty to a child, and assault with a deadly weapon.
He was sentenced to 12 years for hurting the child and seven for hurting his girlfriend.
