BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Local radio station 88.3 Life FM is working to spread hope in Kern County with the "Hope is not Cancelled" campaign.

Blue signs with that message have popped up across Bakersfield, and the station hopes the signs serve as a reminder of hope across the community.

In addition to over 500 signs around town, local business partners Rusty’s Pizza, Papa Johns (in Rosedale) and Papa Murphy’s (N. Chester location) have offered to include Hope is Not Cancelled cards on each of their deliveries.

Program director Matt Pelishek says, "Everyone is facing their own unique set of challenges right now, and we wanted a way to place reminders all over town that the one thing that isn’t cancelled is hope.”

Signs are available for a suggested donation of $25, and Life FM will deliver the sign directly to you. You can find more information at their website.
