Cinco de Mayo was celebrated a little differently this year, due to the coronavirus. Without the ability to go out to a restaurant or hold a gathering, many were left wondering what to do.

That's why local Concilman Andrae Gonzalez organized to have a local Mariachi group in East Bakersfield Tuesday.

Mariachi San Marcos de Bakersfield took to the streets to perform an open concert. The concert was enjoyed by locals driving by or in the neighborhood.
