BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — The Kern County Sheriff's Office held an event to build stronger connections with the community on Tuesday.

The event highlighted the department’s air support, K-9, SWAT, bomb squad, training simulators, and search and rescue units.

Those who attended learned about the Sheriff Office’s specialized units. They also got to see demonstrations and ask questions.
