BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Livestock auctions are an age-old tradition at the Kern County Fair and even the coronavirus pandemic can't stop them.
The fair will be hosting virtual livestock options from Oct. 1 to Oct. 3.
The auction will enter a horse racing style auction where it stays open in increments of 5 minutes as long as someone is bidding, according to the Kern County Fair website. When all bidding stops the auction will close.
The auction can be found at SC Online Sales once it is posted Sept. 30.
