Kern County Sheriff's Office has shared that they are investigation a suspicious package near Rexroth Avenue and Janene Way.

Bomb squad has been called out to investigate, and the bomb squad robot is now taking pictures to determine if the items discovered are explosive. It appears as if someone placed a medium-sized package under shrubbery near a home.

Several homes in the neighborhood have been evacuated and streets have been closed.
