Two people were killed and a third hospitalized after a shooting in South Bakersfield on Wednesday morning.
According to the Kern County Sheriff's Office, deputies were dispatched to the area of Hughes Lane and Terrace Way just after 3 a.m. Wednesday.
KCSO says three shooting victims were found in the area.
Two were pronounced dead at the scene. A third person was taken to a hospital. The extent of their injuries is not known.
KCSO says they are not released suspect information at this time.
Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation.
