Kaiser Permanente reaches deal with pharmacists

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — Pharmacists at Kaiser Permanente reached a deal avoiding a strike Monday.

Over the weekend Kaiser reached a deal with the alliance of health care unions. That four-year contract would cover 50,000 employees.

The new deal includes regular annual raises staffing procedures and more opportunities for promotion within the organization.
