BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield-Kern Regional Homeless Collaborative’s Homeless Youth Committee is hosting an internship and career fair to help youths around town.
The goal of the event is to assist homeless youth in obtaining internships and employment that will assist them in getting off the streets. Although the event is geared towards homeless youth, the even is open to anyone 24 and younger.
It's happening on March 27 at The Job Spot on Panama Lane. The event runs from 9 a.m. to Noon.
Those who attend should come dressed professionally and be prepared for on-the-spot interviews. Resumes are recommended as well.
