An East Bakersfield homeowner caught a man attempting to steal Halloween decorations from his front yard.

Surveillance cameras captured a man on a bike trying to steal a goblin that was hanging just steps away from Danny Quijada’s front door.

The incident happened Sunday afternoon.  

Quijada says small items began disappearing three years ago. Then bigger ones.

Now he says after 20 years of going all out for Halloween, he’s scaling back. 

The family has filed a report with the Kern County Sheriff’s Office and are hoping the man will be caught.
