Highland High School students held a plant sale on Saturday to benefit the school's Future Farmers of America program.

Seniors in Highland's agricultural department have spent the past eight months planning the "Scotsmen Market." It's the second year the sale was held.

Students have grown thousands of succulents, annuals, perennials, fruit trees, and vegetables with the school's farm.

Students in the mechanics program have also built garden art, planters, tool boxes, tables and chairs that were also for sale.

The Scotsmen Market was held at the farm on Highland's campus at 2900 Royal Scots Way in northeast Bakersfield.
