BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — On Wednesday, the Kern County Public Health Department confirmed the county's second vaping-related illness.
Officials have not released any more details relating to the case but this comes just one day after they confirmed the county's first vaping-related illness.
At that time, the California Department of Public Health issued a statement that said it had "received reports that 90 people in California who have a history of vaping were hospitalized for severe breathing problems and lung damage, and two people have died."
