BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — Greenfield Middle School has been recognized as a "Project Lead the Way" Distinguished School.
The recognition honors schools committed to increasing student access, engagement, and achievement in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) programs.
Greenfield is one of 212 middle schools across the country to receive this honor and only one of nine in the state of California.
