UPDATE: The evacuation and shelter-in-place orders have been lifted by the Kern County Fire Department. The fire at this point has been contained.
The Kern County Fire Department is recommending that residents living on Amaya Court near Round Mountain Road evacuate due to a grass fire in the area.
