GRAPHIC CONTENT: Surveillance video shows a man striking a dog while the owner was away

(UPDATE: August 18, 2018 11:25 a.m.) Jesse Ramon, Jr. has been arrested for one count of felony animal abuse.

(Update: August 17, 2018 8:09 p.m.) According to Ridgecrest Police, Jesse Ramon came to the Police Department for questioning.

Ridgecrest police officers said they are on the lookout for 18-year-old Jesse Ramon following footage of Ramon striking a dog while the dogs owner, Ethan Greens was away.

Ridgecrest police officers said Greens has surveillance cameras around his home and when he looked at the footage, he found that Jesse had hit his dog Bella.

In the video you can see Ramon striking the dog several times and smearing feces onto the dogs face. 

After reviewing the video, Ridgecrest police officers said that they were contacted by Greens and obtained the surveillance video.

Marissa Gonzalez who is a friend of the dog owner, shared the video of Ramon striking Greens dog on Facebook. Gonzalez said that charges are being pressed. Police say he will be arrested for cruelty to animals when they track him down. 

The dog has been reported as okay.
