A gas leak is to blame for an apartment fire in Ridgecrest early Thursday morning that left two people displaced.
Kern County Fire responded to the fire just after 3 a.m. in the area of Cisco and Arondo streets.
Fire officials say one of the homes in the complex was empty and the other homes each had one person living in them.
No one was hurt in the fire.
