BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Fresno County Sheriff's Office and the Department of Homeland Security are issuing a public safety warning regarding potentially deadly pill.
Deputies and agents have recently had three cases in the county where they've seized pills disguised as Oxycodone Hydrochloride, but really contain a high concentration of Fentanyl.
The pills share similarities in appearance:
- They are blue in color
- They have a capital 'M' surrounded by a square on one side
- The other side has the number '30' with a horizontal line directly below it
If you come across these pills, you should not touch or ingest them.
The Sheriff's Office encourages people to only take medicine prescribed by their doctor in the recommended dosages
