BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — Fire crews continue to make progress on the French Fire burning in the Kern River Valley and could have it fully contained by this weekend.
Kern County Fire Department reported that blaze, as of Tuesday morning, covers 26,745 acres and is at 65% containment.
County fire estimating the blaze to contained by Saturday.
