BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The National Weather Service Hanford Office has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Northwestern Kern County.
According to our Chief Meterologist Elaina Rusk, doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Some of the areas include Bakersfield, Wasco, Shafter, Rosedale, Buttonwillow, and Lost Hills.
Chief Meterologist Rusk says flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
The NWS Hanford Office has issued the Flash Flood Warning through 9:45 a.m.
If you come across a flooded area, turn around. Don't drown.
