UPDATE, 9:26 a.m. - A child has been arrested following Tuesday's fire, according to the Bakersfield Fire Department. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
A total of 15 people were displaced by Tuesday's fire, officials said.
The damage is estimated to be around $75,000.

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Emergency crews battled a house fire in Southwest Bakersfield early Tuesday evening.
The blaze broke out at around 5:30 p.m. in the area of Ming and Soranno Avenues.
Several people have reported seeing a column of black smoke in the area.
It's not immediately known how the fire started or whether anyone was injured.
