Erin Gruwell has been molding and teaching young minds for 25 years now and her impact even crossing to other platforms as she was the author of the Freedom Writers Diary.
On Monday, August 13, Gruwell was a speaker at Bakersfield High School's Harvey Auditorium. Gruwell shared her teaching stories with staff from the Kern County High School District hoping to inspire and influence them as the new school year kicks off.
