PORTERVILLE, Calif. — A popular destination for Kern County, the Eagle Mountain Casino, in Porterville announced they are changing their rules regarding smoking in their facility.
According to a release from casino officials the Tule River Public Health Authority has advised the casino to take further safety measures indoors. They said in order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 Eagle Mountain Casino has eliminated smoking on their casino floor as of Tuesday morning and will do so until further notice.
They will have a designated area outdoors located between the casino and the event center for those wishing to smoke. Signage will be posted throughout the casino.
The casino currently operates at a limited capacity while Tulare County works towards Phase Four of reopening.
