UPDATE: We're continuing to follow a deadly officer-involved shooting overnight near the Tejon outlets. The sheriff's department is investigating the shooting by a California Highway Patrol officer. We have limited details at this hour, but the sheriff's office told 23ABC that a CHP officer shot and killed a person near the Tejon Outlets Sunday night around 9 p.m. The only comment from investigators is that the person shot was a "suspect." There are no other details available right now. The northbound on-ramp to I-5 at Laval Road was closed during the investigation.
