BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — UPDATE: PG&E is no longer reporting a power outage in the Oildale area, follwing a vehicle versus power pole crash Monday afternoon.
Crews are on scene repairing a power outage affecting over 140 customers in Oildale after a vehicle crashed into a power pole Monday afternoon.
According to the PG&E outage website, the initial outage started just before 5 p.m. and affected 143 customers in the area of McCord Avenue and Oildale Drive.
PG&E crews are working to repair the damage at this time and PG&E is estimating power should be restored by 8:15 p.m.
