Creek Fire repopulation in effect as evacuation orders are reduced, lifted

As of Tuesday at 4 p.m., evacuations pertaining to the Creek Fire have been reduced to warnings in some areas and lifted in others. Tuesday marks day 2 of the repopulation of these areas.

Following this announcement, repopulation in those areas effected can begin.

In Fresno County, the following evacuation orders are reduced to evacuation warning:

Zone F1B: East of SJ & E Road (south of Ponderosa Market, 33246 Auberry Road), North of Lodge Road, and west of the intersection of Highway 168 and Qualls Prather Road.
Zone F1C: North of Lodge Road in between the east side of Auberry Road and the west side of SJ & E Road. Northern boundary includes both sides of Rockhill Lane as well as Old Creek Road.
Zone F1D: East side of Auberry Road, North of Rock Hill Lane. The west side of SJ and E Road is the eastern boundary north of Old Creek Road. The northern boundary is the intersection of Auberry Road and SJ and E Road.

Zone F1E: The western boundary is east of the houses located on the east side of Little Sandy Road. The southern boundary is Lodge Road at its intersection with Little Sandy Road. The eastern boundary consists of the west side of Auberry Road. The northern boundary consists of the south side of Frazier Road.

Zone F1F: The west boundary is the San Joaquin River, in between the Power Station tunnel to the south and just south of Ya-Gub-Weh-Tuh Trailhead in the north. The south boundary consists of the northern side of Frazier Road. The east boundary consists of the west side of Auberry Road (in between the intersection of Auberry Road and Frazier Road to the south, and Stonehouse Tavern, 33071 Auberry Road) to the north. The northern boundary begins just north of the Red Hawk Ranch (33477 Cottontail Lane).

Zone F1G: South boundary begins just north of Red Hawk Ranch (33477 Cottontail Lane). Additionally, the southern boundary begins at Auberry Road just north of Stonehouse Tavern (33071 Auberry Road). The east boundary consists of the west side of Powerhouse Road. The north boundary consists of the south side of Smalley Road. Lastly, the west boundary consists of the San Joaquin River.

Zone F1H: West boundary consists of the east side of Powerhouse Road. The north boundary is just north of Wish I Ah Road. The east boundary includes both sides of Comstock Lane.

Zone F1I: South Boundary is the north side of Smalley Road. The East boundary consists of the west side of Powerhouse Road until north of Wish I Ah Road, where both sides of Powerhouse Road are included. Both the north and west boundaries are the San Joaquin River.

Zone F1TA: The west boundary begins to the south at Ponderosa Market and includes properties on the east side of Auberry Road to Old Auberry Road. The boundary then follows to (include) properties on the east side of Old Auberry Road, till it re-intersects with Auberry Road. This will continue till just east of the intersection of Comstock Lane and Auberry Road. This zone will not include Jose Basin Road or continued east access on Auberry Road. The south boundary lays south of the properties off of UppityUppity Road, and extends east, until the exclusion of the properties near west of Auberry Road.

Zone F3M: Area surrounding Little Sandy Road north west of the intersection of Highway 168 and Little Sandy Road. This zone begins north of Highway 168 and extends west towards the Wellbarn Trail and county line.

Zone F3N: Uninhabited land east of the San Joaquin River, contains the Wellbarn Road Trail and Big Table Mountain Ecological Reserve.

Zone F3O: Both sides of Wellbarn Avenue north of Hurley Avenue, south of the Wellbarn Gate (Trailhead), east to the roundabout in Prather.

The Following Evacuation Warnings are Lifted:

Zone F3E: South of Lodge Road beginning in the west from the intersection of Lodge Road and Auberry Road, to the east at the Sierra Hills Baptist Church. South boundary includes both sides of Pennyroyal Lane between Black Mountain Road and Gooseberry Lane.

Zone F3F: East side of Morgan Canyon Road, beginning at the south at the intersection of Gooseberry Lane and Morgan Canyon Road. Northern boundary is Highway 168 east of the Roundabout to the Auberry Road and Lodge Road intersection. Eastern boundary is the Gooseberry Lane and Pennyroyal Lane Fork (leads to Black Mountain Road), Southern boundary does not include neighborhoods south of Gooseberry Lane from Pennyroyal Lane.

Zone F3G: Includes east side of Morgan Canyon Road, north of Millerton Road cross of Highway168 cross of Nicholas Road, south of the Goosebery Lane and Morgan Canyon intersection, west of the intersection of Tollhouse Road and Nicholas Road.

Zone F3H: West side of Highway 168 and Morgan Canyon Road (Includes all western Spurs/off-shoots), beginning from the south at Skylan Lane, south of the roundabout in Prather.

Zone F3I: Both sides of Auberry Road, beginning to the west at Wellbarn Road, and to the east at the roundabout. Northern boundary (on the west side) is Wellbarn Road and Canal Road. Northern boundary (on the east side) is the Sierra Unified District Office (29143 Auberry Road).

Zone F3J: North side of Old Millerton Road, beginning east of the intersection of Millerton Road and Auberry Road, west of Morgan Canyon Road includes the west side of Morgan Canyon Road, from Old Millerton, south of Basilwood Lane.

Zone F3K: East side of Auberry Road, starting in the south at Old Millerton Road. Northern boundary is south of the Auberry Road and Wellbarn Road intersection, includes all south and east spurs of Auberry Road up until the Auberry Road and Wellbarn Road intersection.

Zone F3L: West Side of Auberry Road, north from Old Millerton Road, west of Wellbarn Road.

ASSEMBLE AN EMERGENCY SUPPLY KIT

Put together your emergency supply kit long before a wildfire or other disaster occurs and keep it easily accessible so you can take it with you when you have to evacuate.

Emergency Supply Kit Checklist:

  • Face masks or coverings
  • Three-day supply of non-perishable food and three gallons of water per person
  • Map marked with at least two evacuation routes
  • Prescriptions or special medications
  • Change of clothing
  • Extra eyeglasses or contact lenses
  • An extra set of car keys, credit cards, cash or traveler’s checks
  • First aid kit
  • Flashlight
  • Battery-powered radio and extra batteries
  • Sanitation supplies
  • Copies of important documents (birth certificates, passports, etc.)
  • Don’t forget pet food and water!

Items to take if time allows:

  • Easily carried valuables
  • Family photos and other irreplaceable items
  • Personal computer information on hard drives and disks
  • Chargers for cell phones, laptops, etc.

Always keep a sturdy pair of shoes and a flashlight near your bed and handy in case of a sudden evacuation at night.
