BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — The California Highway Patrol and fire officials responded to a car in a canal around 3:30 a.m. at Di Giorgio and Cottonwood Roads Thursday morning.
According to the CHP, no one was found inside the vehicle but other than that the details are limited.
Officials said that these incidents have been happening more frequently due to rising water levels in Kern canals.
