BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — Due to California’s new stay-at-home order that went into effect this weekend, CALM’s zoo operation will be closed to the public until further notice.

Because CALM’s HolidayLights is being operated in a drive-thru manner — independent of the zoo’s normal operations — HolidayLights will continue to operate to provide Kern County families with a safe, drive-thru experience.

HolidayLights at CALM runs nightly through Jan. 2, except on Christmas, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tickets must be purchased in advance online at www.calmzoo.org, through www.Vallitix.com, or in-person at all Valley Strong Credit Union branches. Tickets are $30 per vehicle.

CALM members and military receive discounts.
