CALIFORNIA CITY, Calif. — A California City man has been arrested on three felony counts of sexual intercourse or sodomy with a child under 10 years old and one felony count of continuous sexual abuse of a child.
According to court documents, on March 4, a woman called police after finding her husband having sex with his 10-year-old stepdaughter. Police said that the wife returned home after forgetting something and found their door was locked. After banging on the door, her husband opened it and ran back down the hall.
Documents said the wife told police that her husband was naked and when he ran down the hall, he threw something into the trash. When she looked into the trash, she found a used condom with blood on it. When the wife entered the bedroom, she found that their bathroom door was locked.
After yelling for someone to open it, she found her daughter and saw blood in the toilet, according to court documents.
Documents say that medical aid came to the scene, evaluated the girl and took her to a local hospital. The girl told a forensic nurse that she'd been having sex with the man for over a year and each time they had sex, he used a condom.
The man was arrested and there is a warrant for his DNA. He is due back in court on March 13 in Mojave.
