Sabrina Limon and Robert Hearn met at Costco at the end of 2013. Sabrina Limon was an employee and Robert Hearn was a customer. They began talking and exchanged phone numbers, then talking turned into an affair.
"I guess I had the best of both worlds," said Limon, referring to having Hearn and her husband, Robert Limon.
Limon and Hearn began joking about how much easier it would be if Robert was not in the picture.
"Her frustrations with rob became my frustrations. Her demons became my demons," said Hearn. "As ironic and sad as this sounds for Rob’s sake, she expressed that Rob with rather be dead than divorced."
In April of 2014, Limon and Hearn devised a plan to poison Robert be lacing his banana pudding with arsenic. The day of, Sabrina panicked and told him not to eat it.
A few months later, they developed a new plan. On August 17, 2014, Jonathan Hearn drove to the rail yard in Tehachapi where Robert worked to shoot and kill him.
Three months later on November 18, 2014, Hearn and Limon were both arrested. Limon was released shortly after.
Detectives then spent the next two years investigating the murder of Robert Limon.
Jonathan Hearn's trial, which was expected to last a month, began and ended January 9, 2017. The trial ended quickly because Sabrina Limon had been arrested three days prior, so Hearn was offered a plea deal in exchange for testimony against Sabrina Limon, which he took.
Hearn is expected to officially be sentenced to those 25 years at the end of October. Limon is expected to be sentenced November 3.
