Bakersfield Police Department: Seven suspects wanted in shooting on Remington Avenue

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Bakersfield Police are looking for seven people for their involvement in a shooting in southwest Bakersfield.

On Saturday, August 17, just after 11:45 p.m., officers responded to a call in the 7400 block of Remington Avenue for shots fired.

A large party was taking place, according to BPD, as they arrived, and further investigation led them to locate over 60 fired bullet casings from various calibers on Remington Way, near Quailwood Elementary school.

Nine suspects were arrested, but police say seven additional people are wanted for their role in the shooting.
