BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Bakersfield police announced that a $5,000 reward is now being offered in connection with the disappearance of McFarland City Manager John Wooner.
BPD says the reward is being offered through the secret witness program. The announcement of the reward comes seven weeks to the day that Wooner was last seen.
Bakersfield police say 57-year-old Wooner last seen on Tuesday, May 14.
Investigators have not confirmed whether foul play is suspected but they are calling the situation suspicious.
